R.I.S.E. Retreat Session Leaders Announced
R.I.S.E. is a sacred two-day retreat created for Black women who are carrying heavy loads—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and communally—and need intentional space to rest.
We are thrilled to announce the session leaders for R.I.S.E and share a bit about the gifts they will bring to the retreat.

Nomalanga Eniafe, MMFT
Nomalanga Eniafe, MMFT, will lead us in African dance rooted in rhythm and release.
Move your body, awaken your sensuality, and reconnect with joy.
Come remember what your body already knows.

Rev. Linda Furtado
Rev. Linda Furtado invites us into Revolutionary Rest.
Through a communal nap, meditation, and curated sound, we reclaim rest as sacred.
Come lay it down—your body deserves it.

Dr. Tayana Hardin
Dr. Tayana Hardin will lead Yoga + Lectio—where movement meets the sacred word.
Gentle yoga and reflection come together to quiet the mind and soften the body.
Come breathe, stretch, and listen deeply.

Rev. Dr. Jeanine Miller
Rev. Dr. Jeanine Miller will guide our Sistah Circle—a sacred space for truth-telling and deep listening.
Come as you are and share what you carry.
Leave reminded: you are not alone—this is sisterhood.
R.I.S.E. is designed for Black women seeking rest, restoration, and reconnection—no prior experience with yoga, meditation, or retreat spaces is required. All bodies, ages, and fitness levels are welcome.
R.I.S.E. is not about fixing yourself.
It is about remembering yourself.
Come as you are.
Leave rested.
