With 10 acres of gothic architecture and lush gardens, a historic bell tower, famous stone archways and cloisters, and stunning venue decor, Scarritt Bennett Center's campus is home to some of the most picturesque settings in Music City. Our campus is a popular destination for engagement shoots, styled shoots, bridal portrait sessions, family photos, professional headshots, graduation/senior portraits, and staged marketing shoots.
Scarritt Bennett Center is private property. All photography sessions require a signed contract and copyright license.
Photography sessions cost $150/hr.
Because we regularly host private events, weddings, film shoots, and other events on our campus, photography sessions must be scheduled in advance. Groups performing unlicensed and unscheduled/impromptu photo shoots on campus will be asked to leave.
You don't have to get married at Scarritt Bennett Center to have your photos taken here. Couples getting married elsewhere are still welcome to schedule their first look, family, or wedding party photos on our campus. We also welcome bridal portrait sessions with brides-to-be and their photographers, to capture those extra-special glam shots in your wedding gown. Inquire directly for wedding and bridal portrait session pricing.

For decades, Scarritt Bennett Center has proudly welcomed film crews for a variety of shoots, including full-length feature films, television shows, documentaries, music videos, book promos, event promos, video series, and more.
Our campus has been featured in productions such as CMT "Nashville", Lifetime's "Patsy & Loretta", Sony's "Novitiate", Taylor Swift's music video "The Story of Us", ESPN commercials, and countless more.
Scarritt Bennett Center requires a signed contract and a 10-hour, $1200-minimum per space per day. This price is non-negotiable; we do not offer student, nonprofit, hourly, or other discounted filming rates. Standard campus filming hours are 7am–7pm, but we're happy to discuss early morning or overnight shoots (additional staffing fees apply). Our staff is also happy to discuss rates for on-site catering for your crew, dressing rooms, and other add-ons and amenities to make your production a success.
In 2018, Andrew Peterson filmed the music video for his single, "Is He Worthy" in Scarritt Bennett Center's Wightman Chapel. The video is shot in a single take.
