The R.I.S.E. (Reclaiming Intentional Sacred Ease) Retreat for Black Women is a two-day, one-night invitation to step away from the noise and spend intentional time being cared for.

Imagine beginning your weekend by affirming your worthiness of rest through a hands-on creativity experience with The Creativity Bar, moving your body through African dance, resting deeply during a curated communal nap, sharing honestly in Sistah Circle, and closing the evening with Yoga + Lectio—all while surrounded by the peace and beauty of Scarritt Bennett Center’s historic campus.

The retreat concludes Sunday morning with Brunch & Blessing, a reflective conversation with retreat presenters and participants focused on the importance of creating space for rest and building the capacity to incorporate it into our daily lives.

Your registration includes overnight accommodations in Scarritt Bennett Center’s historic residence halls—a place rooted in radical hospitality, women’s empowerment, racial justice, spiritual formation, and transformative education for more than 100 years.
