Wightman Chapel Update: We’re Warming Up!
Like most of Nashville, Scarritt Bennett Center lost power during the snow and ice that blanketed our region last weekend left homes and business with out heat, wifi and in some cases water.
Although much of the Scarritt campus is back up and running, we are working to recover the heating systems in Wightman Chapel. Our HVAC vendor has worked to bring heat back online, yet, with the stone, concrete and massive windows that comprise 100 year old Wightman Chapel, it will take some time to bring the temperature back up. Especially with frigid temperatures during most evenings.
Each week we host weddings and church services in Wightman and we are working around the clock to improve the interior temperature and looking at more solutions so that our guests are comfortable.
