UWF Faith Talks Podcast Features Rev. Linda Furtado
“I think a lot of our growth happens in discomfort,” shared Rev. Linda Furtado during a recent guest spot on United Women in Faith (UWF) Faith Talks podcast hosted by Jennifer R. Farmer. “And, if we’re not always working and studying with the same people that we live with,” Rev. Furtado continued, “we are likely to grow and connect and learn more about what it is to know God.”
Faith Talks podcasts offer spiritual growth content for women of faith. In this episode, Preparing for Mission u // Faith Talks with Amy Beth Jones and Rev. Linda Furtado, Farmer engaged with both Rev. Furtado, author of the adult curriculum entitled A Deep Knowing: Experiencing Emanuel Through Every Part of Our Lives, and Amy Beth Jones, author of Experiencing Emanuel, the children’s curriculum for this year’s Mission u. This thought-provoking conversation explored ways in which people of all ages experience God with us.
Mission u is a transformative educational program produced by UWF that encompasses both Bible-based curricula and events. Each year, UWF develops three justice-focused Biblical curricula for adults, youth, and children, all on a common theme. In 2026, the theme is Experiencing Emmanuel.
