Scarritt Bennett & MOJO Impact Present Powerhouse Conversations Series

To say that Rev. Dr. Sondrea Tolbert and Monchiere’ Holmes-Jones are leaders in the Nashville community committed to creating positive impact is a grand understatement. When Tolbert, Executive Director and CEO of Scarritt Bennett Center, and Holmes-Jones, CEO and Chief Impact Office of MOJO Impact, get together and strategize, almost anything is possible.

Powerhouse Conversations is their latest brainchild and the first conversation happens on April 15th!

Powerhouse Conversations is a luncheon series designed for women that convenes decision-makers and visionaries to explore ways in which ideas become ownership, strategy and long-term impact. In the busyness of our Mondays through Fridays that spills into Saturdays and Sundays, these conversations provide a space to slow the pace with intention. It is an invitation to think strategically, align meaningfully, and find clarity inside the confusion.

Powerhouse conversations move us beyond surface-level dialogue, create alignment, spark strategy, and advance ideas that carry well beyond the room.

Our first Powerhouse Conversation on April 15th will center healthcare and include voices of five powerhouse women transforming Nashville’s healthcare industry. Scarritt Bennett executive Rev. Kelli X, who serves as Director of Racial Justice Ministries, will moderate a conversation with Rev. Tolbert, Michelle Ogunyemi, Katina Beard, Kristin Mejia, and Brandi Jack. Each share about their experiences and their work to create greater equity and justice in healthcare. This is not a conversation about disparities. It is a dialogue centered on solutions, accountability, and building systems that reflect and serve the communities they are meant to support.

When you come to Scarritt Bennett Center on April 15th, you will find your way to Bennett Hall, one of Nashville’s most historic and reflective spaces on campus. The program will begin at 11 a.m and conclude at 1 pm. Lunch is included in the ticket price of $25.
