This conversation will feature the voices of powerhouse women transforming Nashville’s Music Row. Ashley Currie will moderate a panel including Averianna The Personality, Gina Miller, Kellee Halford and Piper Jones.

Many of us are familiar with the presenters, and some of us are meeting them for the first time. Take a moment to learn more about these women navigating the many facets of the music scene here in Nashville and beyond!

Ashley Currie is currently tapping into her natural proclivity to connect and share people’s stories as the Publisher + Editor of Urbaanite, Nashville’s growing hyperlocal publication celebrating community and curating culture. As a Nashville native, after graduating with a degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, Ashley moved back to her hometown and worked in corporate marketing and advertising handling multicultural brand campaigns for Denny’s, BMW and United Methodist Communications which would fuel her passion to start Urbaanite. Feeling there was a narrative missing in the local media scene, Ashley created Urbaanite for people to feel seen and welcome to explore the best in food, art, wellness, history and cultural attractions in the city.

Piper JonesPiper Jones is a Nashville native, recording artist, and passionate educator joining the commercial voice faculty at Belmont University. A double alumna of Belmont’s renowned Commercial Music program, she brings nearly two decades of experience as a performer, songwriter, and teaching artist.

Kellee Halford is a community connector and the owner of a creative consulting firm that helps folks with life coaching services as well as project and artist management. If someone’s needs fall outside her portfolio, she easily refers them to people within her network who are a better match. Being a part of a community of professionals is where Kellee thrives, and that is somewhat unique in the music business. Getting to know her clients is important to Kellee, and through that connection she is able to contour and customize her services for each individual’s set of needs. Kellee is authentic and consistent in her work and is on a  solid successful trajectory.

Gina Miller has been passionate about music and writing for as long as she can remember. A lifelong musician, educator, entrepreneur and executive, her love for music and the arts has forged the way and proven to be a significant part of her life’s purpose and work. Miller’s roles, throughout her career have included, Radio and Retail Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Dir. National Sales and Label Relations, VP Promotions & Marketing, VP Promotions and Label Relations, to currently SVP and GM. As Senior Vice President and General Manager of Entertainment One (eOne) in Nashville, TN; Miller oversees the day to day operations for eOne in Nashville, which includes monikers eOne, Light Records, IndieBlu Music (Digital Distribution), and a thriving publishing roster.

Averianna The Personality Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Paige initially aspired to be a professional dancer on Broadway due to her natural talent in tap, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop dance. However, upon entering college, she shifted her dreams toward journalism. Paige, now known as “Averianna The Personality”, became a news anchor at MT10 and a Sports Sideline reporter at MTSU. She evolved into a prominent television and radio personality, interviewing celebrities, hosting red-carpet events, and working for figures like Kellie Pickler and Steve Harvey.
