Help the Washington Family Rebuild After the Fire

If you have ever been to Community Lunch at Scarritt Bennett, chances are you know Rickey Washington – the Mayor of Community Lunch. Rickey wants to know your drink order, answers any dietary questions about lunch you may have, and can keep you up to date on all the goings on in Nashville.

And now, Rickey and his family need our help.

The Washington family is facing an unimaginable challenge after their home caught fire due to a power connection error following the recent ice storm. This tragedy has left them without a place to call home, and they are currently staying in a hotel while their insurance company assesses the damage. Rickey, known to many from the “Rock Block” in Nashville, along with his parents, have always been pillars of the community, ready to help others in need. Now, they need our support more than ever.

They are struggling to cover hotel costs and replace essential items, including Rickey’s work uniforms and clothing, which were lost in the fire. This is a difficult time for them, and any contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. Let’s come together to help the Washington family rebuild their lives.

Thank you for considering a donation to support them during this challenging time.
