Scarritt Bennett Center invites you to an evening of poetry and conversation with David M. Harris, a distinguished poet, author, and educator. With roots in New York’s literary scene and a home in Tennessee, David’s career spans book publishing, film production, and higher education. His poetry has been featured in respected journals, and his first collection, The Review Mirror, was published by Unsolicited Press in 2013.
David is also the author of Democracy and Other Problems (essays), co-author of Bill, the Galactic Hero: the Final Incoherent Adventure (with Harry Harrison), and has written numerous short stories, magazine articles, and screenplays.
Join us for an evening of live readings, thoughtful discussion, and community as we celebrate the transformative power of poetry.
