What if we could remember the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection for just a moment each day? Please enjoy this prayer from our Executive Director Rev. Dr. Sondrea Tolbert, excerpted from her book On the Bright Side: Morning Joy. May all your Mondays be Resurrection Mondays!

Resurrection Monday Prayer:

O God, we praise your holy and righteous name!

We thank you for the gift of Resurrection, for the victory over death and sin, and for your ultimate demonstration of love through Jesus.

May the joy and hope of this day fill our hearts and guide our steps.

We pray that you will renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and fill our lives with your peace.

Help us to live in the light of the Resurrection, loving one another and serving others.

God, may we feel the warm embrace of your love today and always.

May the glory of Jesus’ resurrection remind us that with You, nothing is impossible.

May we continue to hope and not doubt.

May we continue to believe that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of us and gives us power to conquer our daily challenges.

We ask for your blessings on this day and for the week ahead.

We pray in Jesus name. Amen. So Be It.
