Scarritt Bennett’s Department of Soul Work, led by Rev. Linda Furtado, Director of Spirituality and the Arts, in collaboration with Karynthia Phillips, Beyond Boundaries Consulting, invites you to join us for an inspiring weekend of networking, learning, and dedicated writing time at Scarritt Bennett Center. This is your opportunity to gain valuable insights, connect with fellow writers, and immerse yourself in an environment that fosters creativity and growth.

Event Flow & Registration Options

📅 Friday Night Writer’s Meet-Up (6:00 – 9:00 PM)

Start the weekend with food, fellowship, and publishing insights. Engage in meaningful conversations with fellow writers and gain valuable knowledge from those who have successfully navigated the world of writing and publishing.

📝 Saturday Sacred Writing Time Apart (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Step away from distractions and dedicate time to your craft. Focus on what matters for your current writing projects and ideas. This is time apart for anything from guided reflections and creative exercises to quiet writing time. We will provide the space, a learning opportunity, and some structure to the time apart in order to support your goals and help you focus deeply on your writing.

• Guest Speakers: Gain insights from experienced writers and publishing professionals who will share their expertise.
