Join us for an unforgettable evening of poetry, artistry, and conversation at Poet’s Corner—a gathering where words come alive.
Dana Malone, a Nashville-based poet and teaching artist, is known for her lyrical reflections on home, history, and healing. Her chapbook Mother. Grave. Ghost. and forthcoming collection Everyone Begotten, Everything Holy explore Appalachian roots, personal resilience, and the sacred in everyday life. Dana’s work has appeared on stages, podcasts, buses, and even in international festivals.
Klyd Watkins, longtime Tennessean and lifelong poet, has been a force in Southern poetry since the 1960s. From open mics in Nashville to experimental audio recordings and poetic LPs, his voice remains vital and visionary. His most recent collection, The Wolf Can Smell This is My Acre, offers fresh reflections inspired by the land surrounding his home near the Harpeth River.
Robyn Leigh Lear (she/they) is a poet, professor, and creative director based in Nashville. Their upcoming debut collection, Ekphrasis as Divination, explores language, art, and ritual through poetic interpretations of divinatory cards. Robyn’s current work, Yonderling, continues this exploration of identity and landscape with what they call “the violent pastoral.”
