Book Study: Red Lip Theology

You are invited to participate in a powerful four-week book study on Red Lip Theology by Candice Marie Benbow hosted by Rev. Kelli X, Director of Racial Justice Ministries with Scarritt Bennett Center, and Rev. Jeanine C. Miller, Ph.D, M.Div. Candidate at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.

The book study is designed to nurture meaningful discourse between the academy, the church, and the community.

Join us each Tuesday throughout April (8, 15, 22 & 29) from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Raintree Room on the Scarritt Bennett Campus.

All are welcome as we explore the intersections of theology, culture, and Black womanhood in Benbow’s work.  Dynamic facilitators including esteemed scholars and faith leaders will guide each session.

Cost for the 4 week series is $75.
