Join fellow poetry enthusiasts for a reading by featured local poet, Chance Chambers!

Chance ChambersChance Chambers is a former thirty-five-year resident of Nashville, TN, who now lives in Birmingham, AL, with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and three cats: Albus, Oz, and Moon Pie. Chambers’s poetry and fiction have appeared in Perfume River Poetry Review, Number One: A Literary Journal, Sobotka Literary Magazine, and the anthologies Sinew: 10 Years of Poetry in the Brew, Muscadine Lines: A Southern Anthology, and Gathering: Writers of Williamson County. Since moving to Birmingham, Chambers has replaced meditative visits to Scarritt Bennett Center’s labyrinth with walks over the ghost mines of Red Mountain Park.

Where to Watch:

In-person audience: live audience welcome in Harambee Auditorium at Scarritt Bennett Center (campus map). All visitors are required to wear a mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Socially distanced seating will be in place.
