Chance Chambers is a former thirty-five-year resident of Nashville, TN, who now lives in Birmingham, AL, with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and three cats: Albus, Oz, and Moon Pie. Chambers’s poetry and fiction have appeared in Perfume River Poetry Review, Number One: A Literary Journal, Sobotka Literary Magazine, and the anthologies Sinew: 10 Years of Poetry in the Brew, Muscadine Lines: A Southern Anthology, and Gathering: Writers of Williamson County. Since moving to Birmingham, Chambers has replaced meditative visits to Scarritt Bennett Center’s labyrinth with walks over the ghost mines of Red Mountain Park.

In-person audience: live audience welcome in Harambee Auditorium at Scarritt Bennett Center (campus map). All visitors are required to wear a mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Socially distanced seating will be in place.
