“Easter begins in the shadows, well before sunrise. This is the way resurrection works; it gathers itself in the darkness and can be difficult for us to recognize at first light.” —Jan Richardson, Circle of Grace: A Book of Blessings for the Seasons
Gather with us as we celebrate the gift of God’s incarnational and unending love in Christ. On Easter morning, join Soul Work at Scarritt Bennett Center for a special sunrise service on Easter morning. Come as you are and join us on the Labyrinth, a holy and ancient symbol of healing, light, love, and new beginnings, in our International Peace Garden.
The Labyrinth and International Peace Garden is located on the northwest corner of Scarritt Bennett Center’s campus (near the corner of 19th Avenue and Grand Avenue). The closest campus parking is in Parking Lot B, which is accessible off 18th Avenue South. Parking at Scarritt Bennett Center is free for campus guests.
