“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
Join with other clergy sisters at Scarritt Bennett Center for “Kitchen Table Conversations.” This monthly gathering of clergywomen is meant to build community as we reclaim “the unforced rhythms of grace.” Kitchen Table Conversations features a delicious meal in Scarritt Bennett Center’s historic Susie Gray Dining Hall and nurturing conversations with other area clergywomen. Each gathering creates space for supportive relationships so we may “learn to live freely and lightly” and nourish resilience and joy for ministry.
Lunch tickets cost $15 and must be reserved in advance, as seating is limited. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of all.
