Nashville native Gus Laux is a seeker and former tour manager in the music business. Laux is drawn to the mysteries of life and casts a vast net for inspiration. From the Beatles to the Catholic folk mass, Chagall to Wyeth, the Upanishads to the simplicity and strength of nature, Laux’s curiosity is underpinned by an appreciation of the unity between ourselves and creation at large. A self-taught writer, Laux first began sharing his words through prayers and prose online during the early days of the pandemic. Through the quietness and respite brought by the pandemic, Laux’s writing came to the fore. He found it ushered comfort and repose for others, who encouraged him to share his voice.
