Ash Wednesday service in Wightman Chapel

Soul Work at Scarritt Bennett Center will welcome community members to Wightman Chapel for the imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday. Sometimes referred to as “The Day of Ashes,” Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season in the Church. On this day, worshipers focus on repentance, prayer, and reconciliation with God.
