The Scarritt and National Colleges International Alumni/ae Association joyfully invites you to attend a worship service in Wightman Chapel as we gather to celebrate, remember, commune and rejoice together! The worship service will be filled with beautiful music, liturgy, hymns, scripture readings, and a meditation offered by Kathryn Mitchem, former Scarritt College professor, entitled “Called for Just Such a Time as This.” The liturgy will also include a Service of Remembrance to celebrate the life of Reverend Dr. Edward (Ed) Britt, elected member of the SCNIAA Executive Committee, who died in December 2020, and other alumni/ae who have died since 2017. The service will conclude with communion.
For those who cannot attend in person, the service will livestream on the Scarritt Bennett Center YouTube page, and a recording will be available on the SCNIAA Alumni webpage for future viewing.
Persons who attend the service in person will need to follow the SBC COVID-safety protocols of wearing masks while on campus and during worship.
