Celebrate Women’s History Month “Young Black & Lit” Gallery Exhibit

The opening reception for “Young Black and Lit” at Scarritt Bennett Center’s Laskey Gallery last Thursday was an incredible event attended by over 80 of Nashville’s young art scene to celebrate five young Black women artists: Dylan Camp, Mikeria Jackson, Toni’ya Johnson, Lexi Payne and Paula Ramos.

The show is a mixed media exhibition will be available from February 27 through April 5 in the Laskey Art Gallery at Scarritt Bennett Center.

While we remember those on whose shoulders we stand, let us celebrate the fabulous talent of new generations of women, already making a difference in our community.
