Radical Hospitality at Scarritt Bennett Center
At Scarritt Bennett Center we talk a lot about radical hospitality, yet what does it mean and how does it show up on campus day in and day out?
Radical hospitality is more than a concept of welcome and inclusiveness, it is an atmosphere permeating these 100 year old buildings that motivates everything we do – from Community Lunch and Catering to Soul Work and Racial Justice Ministries, Lodging and Conference & Event Services.
Not to forget Weddings & Receptions. We host hundreds of weddings on campus every year.
Radical hospitality is why we are planting so many trees.
We have an opportunity to care for Scarritt Bennett in this season and while rooted in our legacy of women’s equality, racial justice, spiritual formation and transformative education, we are living and planting radical hospitality for this season and for generations to come.
