Stand Against Injustice Rally
Each year, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee invites the community to unite its voices to educate, advocate and promote social justice and civic engagement at the annual Stand Against Injustice Community Rally.
Join YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee and Scarritt Bennett Center for Rooted in Justice, on September 10 at the Harambee Auditorium on the Center’s campus.
This gathering will honor Dr. Sekou Franklin with the Carrie Hull Award for his leadership in civil rights, social justice, and education. We will also reflect on our shared social justice roots, the roles we each play in the larger ecosystem of social change, and the bridges we can build across partners, advocates, organizations, and community members.
