Cross Bearers in the Current Climate: Carry On

Scarritt Bennett Center program executives will be offering resources to enrich your Holy Week from Holy Tuesday through Easter Monday.

Director of Racial Justice Ministries, Rev. Kelli X, will be sharing videos from the Transformative Global Leadership Conference (TGLC) hosted by Scarritt Bennett as a part of our Centennial Celebration.

TGLC was a co-labored partnership with Africa University, American Baptist College, and Vanderbilt Divinity Kelly Miller Smith Institute on Black Church Studies. The event provided a spring board for Christian leaders across the African diaspora to begin new partnerships and programs for ethical, long-term, strategic, and global impact.

Also, Rev. Linda Furtado, Director of Spirituality & Arts, will share daily Holy Week Meditations to culminate with our in person opportunities on Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunrise Services. Click here to learn more.

Together, these resources exemplify Scarritt Bennett’s commitment to justice and equity rooted in faith.
