SUMMARY:2024 Labyrinth GloWalk with NAMI Davidson Co.
DESCRIPTION:Pick Your Time Slot\n \nJoin us for a magical night of light and possibility. Your life journey is unique and your journey through the labyrinth is unique to you as well. Guidelines will be provided\, but it is up to the individual to take the steps through the labyrinth. At the GloWalk\, NAMI Davidson invites you to be reflective and open. Sometimes it is the fear of the next step that keeps us locked in place. Stepping into the labyrinth might be the first step into your new journey. \nHave some light refreshments\, pick up local resource information\, share an evening of illumination. Limited prize giveaways will be available to those who are present to win. Be sure to register to reserve a GloStick. \nNew this year: We are excited to be partnering with Small World Yoga as they share information on their community yoga classes as well as live interactive demonstrations for calming breathing techniques and tools for looking inward. We will also have an expressive writing area as another way to connect with\, and reflect on\, your well-being. \nPlease register for the 7-8pm slot or 8-9pm. Our hope is that by having two timeslots everyone will be able to experience the labyrinth at their own pace and without overcrowding. You are welcome to come earlier\, or stay later\, but please use that time to chat with others and learn about the local resources that will be available. \nInterested\, but not sure what a labyrinth is? #1: It is NOT a maze. \nThe labyrinth has only one path so there are no tricks and no dead ends. The path winds through and becomes a mirror for where we are in our lives; it touches our sorrows and releases our joys. So\, walk it with an open mind and an open heart. \nScarritt-Bennett Center’s outdoor labyrinth is a 7-circuit medieval labyrinth. Located in the international Peace garden\, it is open to all every day during daylight hours and in the evening for special events. \nQuestions? Contact namiwalksnashville@namidavidson.org or call 615-898-9560.
