SUMMARY:Yoga + Lectio
DESCRIPTION:Yoga + Lectio is inspired by the embodied practice of yoga and the contemplative practice of lectio divina.\n\nTraditionally\, lectio divina refers to the ancient practice of reading sacred texts. In this practice\, the text ushers the reader into a meaningful encounter with the Divine Presence. Through the mindful acts of reading\, meditation\, prayer\, and contemplation\, the reader makes herself available to divine inspiration and actively considers how that inspiration may be applied to her life.\n\nYoga + Lectio draws from this sacred reading practice and pairs it with the grounding and soothing effects of yoga.
