Election Day Prayer in Wightman Chapel

Join us as we pray for our city, state, and nation.

Wightman Chapel on the Scarritt Bennett Center Campus will be open from 8 AM to 8 PM for prayer, meditation and community worship on Election Day, November 3, 2020.

Messages, music and prayer will focus on the nation and the national and local elections.

Detailed Prayer Schedule

8:00-9:00 AM          Morning silent prayers/meditation

9:00-10:00 AM        Spoken prayer every 15 minutes followed by silence. At 9:45 am, reflective music for 15 minutes

10:00-11:00 AM       Scripture reading every 15 minutes followed by silence. At 10:45 am, reflective music for 15 minutes

11:00-12:00 PM        Spoken prayer every 15 minutes followed by silence. At 11:45 am, reflective music for 15 minutes

12:00-12:30 PM       Silence

12:30-1:00 PM          Tuesday in the Chapel with Amy Harkness, speaker

1:00-2:00 PM            Scripture reading every 15 minutes followed by silence At 1:45 pm, reflective music for 15 minutes

2:00-3:00 PM           Spoken prayer every 15 minutes followed by silence At 2:45 pm, reflective music for 15 minutes

3:00-4:00 PM          Organ Music for half hour starting at 3:15 followed by silence

4:00-5:00 PM           Scripture reading every 15 minutes followed by silence At 4:45 pm, reflective music for 15 minutes

5:00-6:00 PM           Spoken prayer every 15 minutes followed by silence At 5:45 pm, reflective music for 15 minutes

6:00-7:00 PM           Piano music for half hour starting at 6:15 pm followed by silence

7:00-8:00 PM           Guided prayer given every 15 minutes. At 7:45 pm,  celebratory organ music
