Join fellow poetry enthusiasts for a reading by local poet, Dan Surface!

Dan Surface has published two collections of poetry, “Gateways” and “Gatekeepers”. He is a certified 4 Gateways life coach and as someone challenged by depression an outspoken advocate to eliminate the stigma of mental illness. He recently started a discussion group for retired men, “Refiring Your Life!”, cosponsored by Mental Health America Mid-South and Fifty Forward. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Sales of his book are donated to Mental Health America Mid-South.

Location: Harambee Auditorium in Fondren Hall (campus map)
Parking: Lot A, accessible off 18th Avenue South (free)
Safety: Attendees are required to wear masks. Social distancing and safety protocols will be in place per CDC guidelines.
